  • So how does Props work?
    Unlike traditional individual store loyalty programs, Props rewards you automatically for all your purchases without you having to do anything at the checkout other than pay for your purchases. Props identifies when you've made purchases and rewards you with Props points.
  • What’s in it for me?
    As a Props user, you start saving right from the first day, earning Props for every purchase, whether you're buying lunch falafels or a new washing machine online, regardless of the store. You earn the most Props when purchasing from our partners. Additionally, Props can be earned by mining purchases, allowing you to earn up to 100,000 extra Props from any purchase. With the Props accumulated from everyday purchases, you can redeem small and big rewards for yourself. How does getting free hamburgers or sushi for the weekend sound without changing anything about what and where you're already buying?
  • How does Props differ from traditional loyalty programs and benefit programs?
    Props makes saving automatic and rewards you for every purchase, regardless of what or where you bought. When you make purchases from our partners, you collect additional Props, and by mining your purchases within 72 hours, you can win up to 100,000 Props. Props is an open rewarding app available to everyone, operating both in-store and online.
  • Is Props free?
    Yes, joining the Props rewarding app is completely free for you. We also give Props for all your purchases made three days prior, so you can get off to a good start in collecting Props!
  • How many partners does Props have?
    Props rewarding app is evolving and growing rapidly. New partners join Props almost every week, and currently, there are already over 150 well-known brands, stores, services, and restaurants available on Props.
  • Do I need to give up my loyalty cards or membership in benefit programs?
    No. Props does not replace existing loyalty or rewards programs, but offers you a new and effortless way to save automatically on all purchases, as well as to use the accumulated Props points for rewards as you wish.
  • How do I create an account on Props?
    Joining the Props rewarding app is quick and easy! 1) Download the Props app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also use Props via a web browser at web.propspoints.com. 2) Register and link your bank or credit card to the Props app using strong bank authentication. 3) Live your life and automatically collect Props from all your purchases
  • How do I link my bank or credit card to the Props app?
    You can link your debit and credit cards to Props during registration, as well as add cards later through the Account tab in the app (ACCOUNT → Linked Payment Cards). When using a web browser, click on your initials in the top right corner of the page to open your user profile. From there, you can see all the payment cards linked to Props and add new ones.
  • What do I do if I forget my password?
    If you forget your password, you can change it from the Props login page by clicking on "Forgot your password?" Enter your email address, and we'll send you a link to reset your password
  • How do I close my account?
    We hope you don’t want to lose money, but if the Props rewarding app doesn't seem like the right way for you to save on every purchase, you can delete your account from the "Account" tab in the app, under SUPPORT and "Delete Account". Your account will be deleted within 30 days, and we'll contact you once your account has been removed from Props.
  • How do I earn Props points?
    Props points can be earned in many ways, completely automatically and from every purchase! You collect Props from all your purchases and additional Props when you shop from Props partners. In addition to these, you can mine all the Props you've collected and win up to 100,000 Props!
  • How many Props points do I earn for each purchase?
    You earn Props for every purchase, but by mining the Props collected from your purchases, you can win up to 100,000 additional Props! By shopping from Props partners, you can earn even more Props. For example, you earn up to 5 Props per euro spent on delicious burgers from Bites Burger, 12 Props per euro spent on purchases from Matsmart, and even 30 Props per euro spent on purchases from Hairlust.
  • Are there any purchases for which I don't earn Props points?
    No. Props automatically rewards you for every purchase when you link your payment card to Props.
  • Do my Props points expire?
    Yes, the Props points you collect are valid for 12 months.
  • What is mining Props?
    Mining Props is a feature in the Props app, which allows you to collect Props faster from all purchases and win up to 100,000 Props from any purchase! New Props become available for mining as you make purchases, and they are available for mining for 72 hours. Mining Props is easy and fun. Open the Props app or log in to the web version of Props, click on the mining icon, or pickaxe, next to recent transactions, and the Props you mine will be credited to your account automatically!
  • How can I use my Props points?
    You can redeem your collected Props points for rewards and gift cards conveniently from the Props Store. Depending on the reward or gift card, you can redeem the reward either directly at the store or restaurant checkout by showing the code or entering it, for example, in the section of an online store where gift cards or codes can be used. You can find detailed redemption instructions on each reward and gift card page.
  • Is there a minimum number of Props points required to redeem a reward?
    Yes. You can see the Props prices for gift cards in the Props Store. We are constantly adding new rewards and gift cards of all price ranges to the Props front-end service. We welcome suggestions for what kind of rewards you would like to see on Props!
  • Can I transfer my Props points to a family member or friend?
    Transferring Props points to another person is not currently possible.
  • Why do you ask to link my payment card to Props?
    By linking your payment card to Props, we can automatically reward you for all your purchases and grant additional Props for purchases made from Props partners. All of this happens automatically using two-step bank authentication.
  • Is linking my payment card safe?
    Yes, linking your payment card to the Props front-end service is safe. Linking your payment card is done using strong bank authentication. This ensures that only you can authorize Props to link your payment cards. According to EU legislation, the authorization for card linking is valid for a maximum of 3-6 months, after which it must be renewed. Once authorized, Props identifies the purchase transactions of your linked payment card by using a secret token created by your bank, which is used to retrieve purchase transactions. Your bank does not share purchase transactions directly with Props, but through a secure connection with the Finnish bank integration company Enable Banking, which operates under the supervision of the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority and is registered as an account information service provider. Enable Banking shares encrypted data with Props automatically, allowing Props to receive information about the purchase transaction and automatically credit the correct amount of Props. We do not know what you purchased - that's your business. Props never sell or share your information with third parties.
  • Do you retain the details of the payment card I linked?
    We never retain identifiable information of your payment card. When you link your card to Props, your card details are encrypted using a token created by your bank, replacing the information with a random string. We do not see or retain the CVV number of the card, so your card details are safe and cannot be used by anyone else but you. The only information we retain is the last 4 digits of the card and the expiration date. We keep this information to ensure the correct use of the payment card in the Props app and to remind you when your card has expired, so you can link a new card.
  • Why do I have to link cards and accounts from different banks separately?
    Each bank has its own process for linking card and account information. Therefore, cards and accounts from different banks need to be linked separately. However, we have made this process as easy and quick as possible for you, so that linking cards does not take up too much time.
  • Why do I have to renew the link to my payment card in Props?
    The EU's Payment Services Directive (PSD2) requires the re-linking of payment cards every 6 months. But don't worry, you'll receive a reminder well in advance before the card linking expires <3
  • Can I earn Props points without linking a payment card?
    No, you cannot. Props rewards its users automatically based on purchase transactions obtained through card linking. This allows for the accumulation of Props points both offline and online without separate authentication or hassle with loyalty cards. Unfortunately, without a valid card linking, this is not possible.
  • Your card information is processed securely and encrypted
    When you link your card to the Props rewarding app, card details are encrypted according to the European Union's Payment Services Directive (PSD2) using strong bank authentication and an encrypted token created by your bank, where card details are replaced by a meaningless token. The only information we retain is the last 4 digits of the card and its expiration date. These details are necessary for displaying the card in the application and for sending reminders about card expiration or re-linking. We do not see or retain the card's CVV number, so your card details are safe and cannot be used by anyone else but you.
  • Props and banking technology
    Props is a consumer-centric rewarding app that rewards its users effortlessly and automatically for every purchase. This has been made possible by the European Union's Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which has improved consumer rights, opened up bank payment interfaces to various service providers, and provided consumers with additional security through strong two-step authentication. Props collaborates with the Finnish bank integration company Enable Banking, which operates under the supervision of the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority and is registered as an account information service provider.
  • Are my details safe?
    Yes. Props does not disclose or sell your information to third parties. It would be against our terms of service.

  • Why can't I link my Aktia bank card?
    Aktia has not yet updated its card interface, which would allow the Finnish Enable Banking bank integration company used by Props to automatically transmit purchase transactions to us. However, Props supports the majority of banks and various card providers operating in Finland.
  • Why haven't I received Props points for my purchase?
    Props points are granted based on purchase transactions recorded by your bank. Sometimes this process may take several days, resulting in a longer-than-usual delay in the granting of Props points. If you do not see Props points within a few days, or if you have received Props points for other purchases, please contact us by email at info@propspoints.com.
  • Issues with logging in?
    Please make sure that the email address you are using is the one you used to create your Props account. If changing your password does not help, please contact us by email at info@propspoints.com.
  • Missing Props?
    Props points are granted based on purchase transactions recorded by your bank. Sometimes this process may take several days, resulting in a longer-than-usual delay in the granting of Props points. If you do not see Props points at all within a few days, or if you have received Props points for other purchases, please contact us by email at info@propspoints.com.
